Applying / Prices
The Kindergarten fees include the parents share, the private care financial aid from Kela (174,74 €), and the financial aid to residents of Lahti. The residents of Lahti are able to receive 400 € per month of financial aid for children over the age of three and 200€ if they are entitled only for 20 hours daycare.
A family discount of 45 € per month is given for having multiple children attend LEK. (Please note that no family discount is available if a sibling is in the 1st grade afternoon group). Families may apply for income based financial aid ranging up to 146,64 €.
Kindergarten will provide longer daycare ( 5,5 hours or 9,0 hours per day) for the children who are only entitled to have20 hour care by the state for additional cost. Please enquiries on this at email@example.com.

You can apply to the English Kindergarten of Lahti with the application form below. Your application is valid when you have paid the queue fee of 50 €. Our bank account nr. is FI08 4212 1120 0803 32. Add the text "queue fee" and the child's name in the additional information field.
The queue fee is not refundable. Unfortunately, there is a limited number of children for whom we can provide childcare, therefore we encourage you to apply early.The Preschool and 1st Grade groups are picked up from the Tiirismaa Elementary School and Onnelantie Day Care.
